Great doctor, great team, great practice! 👍 We and our children have been able to rely on Dr. Becker and his team for about 15 years. They always make sure you can see him as quickly as possible. The practice is really well organized. It goes without saying that you should be flexible in urgent cases. I really wonder why some people can't (or don't want to) understand the need for a certain wait time?! Not everyone likes sitting at the doctor's office, but when you're sick, it's necessary. I think it's a positive thing that you're offered the option of going outside for a walk or something similar while waiting. The ladies at the reception desk are a well-coordinated, experienced team, and the atmosphere is always relaxed, helpful, and friendly. Dr. Becker is a competent doctor who always listens and even accompanied us calmly and thoughtfully with our premature baby when we had concerns. What's really annoying is the behavior of many parents in the waiting room: Their smartphones are more important than their own (sick) children, phone calls are on speakerphone, entire families have to discuss their entire medical history, etc. Usually, there are sick, sometimes feverish children sitting there who really don't need all that background noise! It's always pretty annoying when adults have very specific expectations of others, but conversely, you really can't expect anything from them, except inappropriate behavior! Kudos to the practice team for being so relaxed under these "conditions" 😉
My daughter and I have been going to Dr. Becker for almost 10 years now, and I can honestly say I'm still very impressed. He always takes plenty of time, even when the waiting room is full. I appreciate that he doesn't immediately prescribe a barrage of antibiotics, but also offers alternative methods that might take a little longer and require patience. We have complete confidence in him.
Dr. Becker has been my children's doctor for almost 22 years. I am very happy with him. He is always kind to the children and has great empathy.
