My parents have taking us there last Spetember and it was a nice place to have coffee and cake. Back then it was odd that there are no prices on anything. What I am sure is against some German law. If I go to a bakery I expect fresh food (especially in Germany), the Bienenstich was older and it was to expensive for what you got. So I talked to my mom today, and they have been going there realtive often. To my surprise she told me that the same cake cost 20cents more then the last time they had it, 2-3 days earlier. Again, no prices displayed. Personal was back in september unfriendly and doesn't come close to the German professionalism you would expect. Anyway, my mom told me the person putting the cake on her plate used her dirty fingers and not a fork as it should be. boy the healthy department would have a field day with this people. My dad had a cake and he couldn't eat it because it was old and disgusting. DO NOT GO THERE. It is a ripoff place. drive to Kirchhain and have cake and coffee at Herkules or Cafe Noll.
